You read that right, your daily dose can help you lose your extra baggage.
It all boils down to caffeine's role as a short-term appetite suppressant, according to a study summarized on the Mayo Clinic's site.
"Caffeine may reduce feelings of hunger and your desire to eat for a brief time," Mayo Clinic dietician Katherine Zeratsky wrote.
